Personal Mobility Equipment

The NDIS will fund supports for products that make it easier for participants to move around their home and their community. Maximising mobility is one of the most important things people with disability can do to achieve a high level of independence. It makes a big difference in finding and keeping work, engaging with the community, and staying fit and healthy.

The NDIS allows Bethesda Care to source the personal mobility equipment in the following five subgroups.

• Transfer Equipment
• Walking Equipment
• Seating/Wheelchair Equipment
• Specialised Strollers
• Wheelchairs & Scooters
